Well you know how we feel about this one. Gas grills have their uses, but really, where is the fun in barbecuing on a gas grill? This short video gives a very brief overview of the differences between the BGE and a Gas Grill, but what we really like is his backyard set up. And the real star of the video is the swimming dog at the end of the clip!

A Steel Kamado?

It's relatively cheap and we wonder how hot the outer surface gets to the touch, but it's always good to see the differences between the various Kamado options available. And we got a kick out of the ingenious heat diffuser fashioned by the author of this video!

St. Patrick's Day Corned Beef
St. Patrick's day is this weekend and what better way to celebrate than to smoke your own Corned Beef. Here is a video with a nifty recipe that is done in an oven type smoker, but it should translate nicely to the Big Green Egg. And the for those of you that live in a place where you can't have a charcoal barbecue, the smoker shown here presents an interesting alternative.
May the "Luck of the Irish" be with you!
